Soldiers of the Bosnian Army watched in silence as the U.S. Army crossed the Sava river in order to take up the peace keeping duties as stated in the Dayton Peace Accords. The presence of US armed forces helped to bring an end to the three year civil war in this country that was considered to be the bloodiest war since WW II.
